CAPR 20-2, Complaints Resolution

As of 1 December 2020, there is a completely new Complaint Resolution process (as outlined in CAPR 20-2).  All complaints now go directly to National Headquarters.  Below is an extract from the regulation. 

Complaint Submission

10.1. An IG can receive and process complaints from CAP members, USAF members, and parents or legal guardians on behalf of their cadet members (including anonymous complaints). Members are encouraged to utilize the Online Electronic Complaint Submission System. The website for electronic complaint submission system is:

*However, if the complainant does not have access to internet, the CAPF 20 must be mailed to NHQ CAP/IGC, 105 S. Hansell St, Maxwell AFB, AL, 36112.

Please do not download copies of the worksheets from the website except for practice or preparation purposes. The worksheets change irregularly and often. You MUST use the worksheet that is uploaded to the Documents area of eServices for your unit by the team Chief or the Wing IG, which is the same as the ones sent via Email with, or shortly after the 60-day notice goes to the commander. 
The worksheets in effect at the time the IG sends the 60-day notice message will be the worksheets used for that individual SUI. They will be uploaded to the documentation area of eServices for your unit and those are the only ones to be used for your inspection.

Information for IGs, IGAs and Inspection Augmentees:

NEW IG TRAINING AVAILABLE:  The course is named Advanced Inspection Course and consists of 3 parts.  Each part will have a quiz and the passing grade for each quiz is 80%.  The quizzes can be taken multiple times. It’s all online through AXIS and should take you around 2-3 hours to complete.  Once completed you will see the new field on the IG Course Completion Report, “T.C. Cert”, populated with the completion date.  This course will also be a prerequisite for anyone choosing the Inspection path at the 2021 IG College.  Because there are prerequisites (Intro to Inspections and IA Qualification) we are making it an “invite only” course.  A student will have to be enrolled before they can take it.  The students must understand that successful completion of this course makes the student eligible to be used as a SUI Team Chief.  See your Wing IG to be enrolled.  Wing IGs request enrollment by emailing CAP/IGT the names, CAPIDs and email addresses of those who they want to take the course.   This course will count as your annual IG Refresher for the year taken.
